Teaching Kids About the Love of Jesus
At Nicholson Baptist Church, we believe that helping kids know the Lord and experience the love of Jesus is one of the greatest responsibilities and joys we share as a church family. The Bible reminds us, “Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it” (Proverbs 22:6, NIV). Jesus Himself said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these” (Matthew 19:14). We take these words to heart as we guide kids to know God’s Word, understand His truth, and grow in a lifelong relationship with Him (Deuteronomy 6:6–7).
Our NKids Ministry partners with parents to help every kid learn about Jesus in a safe, loving, and engaging environment. Each week, we focus on building strong biblical foundations through worship, lessons, and fun activities designed to help kids see how much God loves them and how they can live for Him every day.
