WHY CHURCH?
Being part of a local church is vital for every believer because it reflects God’s design for His people to live in fellowship, grow together, and serve one another in love. Scripture reminds us not to “forsake the assembling of ourselves together” but to encourage one another and spur one another toward love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24–25). The early church modeled this beautifully, meeting regularly for teaching, prayer, worship, and fellowship (Acts 2:42–47). As members of the body of Christ, we each have unique gifts meant to strengthen and build up the whole (1 Corinthians 12:12–27; Ephesians 4:11–16). The local church provides a spiritual home where believers can be nurtured in truth, held accountable, and equipped for ministry. Through the church, we grow in our relationship with Christ and fulfill His mission together—shining His light in our community and to the world (Matthew 5:14–16).
